Powder horn possibly made of cow's horn. Curved, slightly oval, hollow horn,
4 - 5 inches long and approximately 1 inch in diameter at its widest opening. Narrow end stopped with a wooden plug.
SPECIAL SIGNIFICANCE: This was found in the wall of Peg Barlow's house (235 West Bay Road) in the process of repairs, etc. Her house is referred to as the Trim house. Belongings found in the house probably date from 1856 - 1870.
