Olive wool U.S. Marine jacket. Belt missing from belt loops. Four front buttons. Four buttoned front pockets, one top, one bottom on each side. One buttoned lapel (two total) on each shoulder. All buttons depict eagle atop an anchor (U.S. Marine emblem). Small finished hole on front of each lapel (two total) for pins, empty. Patch on each shoulder (two total) one green stripe pointing upward to form an arrow, sewn on red background. Above arrow patch on left shoulder is blue diamond shape patch with four white embroidered stars and a red embroidered "1" with "Guadalcanal" embroidered in white letters. Stamped on inner lining on left sleeve "Quartermasters DE -- U.S. Marine Corps. 1942-43 4-S" Written in black pen, also on left sleeve lining, "Kristufek"
