Letters from Marcellus Williams to his aunt, Alice Williams, from his deployment in England during World War 2, including his granting to her power of attorney before he was posted overseas. Marcellus's mother died when he was very young, and Alice stepped into that role. He wrote to her faithfully. Most of the war letters are V-mail. Also some later correspondence circa 1949-50, including a letter of commendation from his commanding officer.
