Wood stick, homemade, 7/8" x 7/8" x 24" two opposing sides marked with knife-cut slashes in 1" increments, with an X at 12", another side marked in 3" increments, the 4th side in 6" increments. Well-worn, no stains from oil or other liquids. Was probably a substitute for a common yardstick. Found in storeroom, origin unknown.
