Description

From the set of tools belonging to and well-used by Frederick A Lee, master mason of Islesboro during the first half of the 20th century. See book "Summer Cottages of Islesboro" p. 119. This plumb bob is metal, 4" long, tapering to a sharp point with concentric grooves every 1/4" from top to bottom. The line is still attached to the top. The plumb line with weighted "bob" is used to determine verticality.
