From the set of tools belonging to and well-used by Frederick A Lee, master mason of Islesboro during the first half of the 20th century. See book "Summer Cottages of Islesboro" p. 119. This chisel is 16" long with an octagonal shaft 1" diameter 10" long which tapers to a blunt edge for chipping stone or brick. The top is well mashed by hammer blows.
