From the set of tools belonging to and well-used by Frederick A Lee, master mason of Islesboro during the first half of the 20th century. See book "Summer Cottages of Islesboro" p. 119. This crowbar is 28.25" long with an octagonal shaft 1" diameter which ends in a slightly curved flat blade tapering to a blunt edge. The top half of the shaft is so well-worn that it is now round and the top is well mashed by hammer blows.
