Water Wings, 30" long, 9" wide. Made by Ayvad's Mfg Co, Hoboken, NJ. Made of tightly woven canvas, water wings are basically two air bladder bags joined with a strap that goes under a child's body at waist level to keep him/her afloat while learning to swim. May be used by adults up to 250 lbs. Instructions printed on both air bladders: "WATER WINGS are all made one size, guaranteed to support 50 to 250 lbs on correct level to float. A large body requires less air than a smaller one: therefore the wings are made purposely porous so that it should leak a little to adjust itself properly. Enough air aslways remains in the wings." and "DIRECTIONS: wash well until no dry spot is left. Blow up so that the air bubbles over. Press on ring mark. Apply on waist, not under arms" and at the base of the blow hole there is printed a black ring (1/2" d.) and the words "Press here"
