One-and-a-half story cape with an addition to the left gable end, single center chimney. The addition is built on a slope, which is built up in front of the house, but at the end of the addition is a door into a basement. Further to the left, part of another building shows. The house has two windows on either side of the door. The addition has a door and one window in front, and a window in the gable end. White with dark trim. There is a rain barrel under a downspout at the left end of the house and a chair at the other end of the front yard.
There are a lot of bushes in front of the addition. A walk appears to lead to the front door of the addition. A woman stands near the door, and three women stand in front of the main building. A dirt road runs across the foreground. On back is written "Maria Durgin, Laura Pendleton, Stella Durgan, Mary Ella Carver. Sprague house now"
