This photograph was taken of the interior of the Islesboro Town Library. It shows a fireplace in the center of the far wall with one stack of shelves and books in the corner, and a number of chairs scattered around the periphery of the room. This photo was referenced and presumably enclosed in a letter by Mrs. Joseph A. Pendleton. The letter was dated October 23, 1921. Therefore the picture has also been assigned that approximate date. The letter also said the photographer was "Guy" (Pendleton?)
