All metal, painted black with red star and gold trim. Handle (6 3/4 inches long) is on spring and pivot. When handle is depressed, 2 round stamps meet to mark inserted paper.
Original Inscription: Written in a circle surrounding a moose head. Court Islesboro No. 3437, Maine, Islesboro I.O.F. L.B.C.
