Large wooden sign that reads in black paint:
"Gilkey' Boat-House.
Built A.D. 1889 from material taken from the old 'Gilkey House'. The Gilkey house was built in the year 1800 by one Pendleton who obtained the land (adjacent here to) in 1799 by purchase from Gen. Henry Knox.
Grey paint with blue chippings.
