Two typewritten letters to Capt. C. H. Dodge from Pendleton Brothers, Ship Brokers & Commission Merchants. The first letter, dated October 27, 1916, concerns the loss of the schooner "Mary L. Crosby," in which Dodge had 2/64 interest, and its indebtedness owing to multiple salvages and repairs before that final loss. The second letter, dated February 15, 1917, concerns the purchase of 1/64 interest in the "Brina P. Pendleton" and the settling of Capt. Dodge's accounts for the "Mary L. Crosby."
