Receipts of payments by F. C. Pendleton to C. P. Carter (on a Belfast receipt form) for "schooner now building," 1890-91. Earnest money in Dec 1890, then June-Sept seemingly every two weeks for a total of $9366.92. Receipts are written on scraps of paper. Early receipts are for "schooner now building" and latter receipts are for "Schr Eliza J Pendleton," plus a final one for $3140 "for Raturs/return [?] due for seven eights of the Sch Eliza J Pendleton."
