5 x 7 " Manila envelope with "Mrs. Lawson Hayes" ,the address "1027 Arbor Lane" an the date "9-16-47" hand-written in pencil on it. Also written in upper left corner is "Journal", assumed to mean this group of pictures was intended for the Jacksonville Journal. The envelope has lines for labeling printed on it : "No.", "Name" and "Remarks" which appear upside down due to the chosen orientation of the envelope.
