Taylor Hardwick (1925 -2014): was an American architect, interior designer, filmmaker, and educator who designed hundreds of buildings throughout northeast Florida, predominantly in and near the city of Jacksonville. Jacksonville Coliseum: Dedicated on Thanksgiving Day in 1960, the Jacksonville Coliseum was constructed at a cost of $2,859,635 (and $62,498 when freezing equipment was added for an ice-rink). It was designed by architects A. Eugene Cellar and George Ryad Fisher of Jacksonville.
