Florida Theatre on Forsyth Street This photo contains three young men and four young ladies dressed in costume attire for the "Florida premiere...now on the new wide screen of Gone with the Wind" lined up outside the theatre. This image is from the summer sometime between 1950-1952. Students in Junior High (Kirby Smith Jr.) were ushers at the theatre for $0.40/hour. Most shows were sold out and the lines were around to Bay Street. The actors walked around town.
