Unknown woman, unknown man, Helen Barket Meide and Michael R. Meide, Sr., Syrian Immigrant, who later became a U.S. citizen wanted to serve his country in WWII, but becasue of his age, he was rejected from the Armed Forces, so he joined the Coast Guard and worked 2-3 nights a week. This picture is enclosed in a souvenir envelope from the Mayflower Terrace Room, a room at the Mayflower Hotel in Jacksonville, FL.
