Naval Station Mayport Missle Mail: Mail to be delivered aboard a Regulus I Missile, the first such mail flight, is handed through a hatch of the submarine Barbero. The Post Office Department announced today the first such mail flight, a delivery by Regulus from the Barbero in the Atlantic Ocean to the Mayport Auxiliary Naval Air Station near Jacksonville, Fla. Watching the loading in the background are, from left, Lt. Comdr. Carlos Dew, Commander of the Barbero; Deputy Postmaster General Edson O. Sessions; and Postmaster General Arthur Summerfield. Others are not identified.
