Robert L. Sims was born in Miami, Florida, 1921. After many experiences, he opened a small antique and book shop in Jacksonville in the early 1950's. He has successfully sold, located, and purchased works by many noted American artists such as Peale, Edward Savage, Thomas Sully, etc. He has had a shop in Charleston, SC and Atlanta Georgia, ultimately returning to Jacksonville, Florida. .. back cover.
