This item is a letter from, Lucy Winchester, Assistant Chief of Protocol for Ceremonial Affairs for the Department of State, to James Burns thanking Mr. Burns for centerpieces, floral arrangement, at the Governor's dinner honoring the President, Gerald R. Ford, and the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Anwar Sadat. The flower used in the arrangement was Florida's State Flower, the chrysanthemum. The dinner was held in Jacksonville Florida on November 2nd, 1975 and was hosted by Florida Governor Reubin Askew. Letter is typewriter written on Department of State letter head and dated, November 11, 1975. James Burns was a renowned florist in Avondale.
