Scope and Content

This is a scrapbook of the Jacksonville Legal Secretaries Association 1969-1970. April 1969 thru April 1970 represented. The scrapbook belonged to Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Zekaria, the one-time president of the Jacksonville Legal Secretaries Association. The Zekaria's established the Elizabeth and Irwin Zekaria Scholarship Endowment for Deaf Education at the University of North Florida (UNF). Irwin "Zeke" was a hearing specialist in Jacksonville. The scrapbook is two-holed covered in burlap and tied together by a green braided thread. The cover has a center green felt circle surrounded by twelve smaller green felt circles with zodiac medallion symbols attached to six of the circles, others might have fallen off.
