Description

Various slides depicting various activities of the Uedemann Family. These glass plates were given to the Society by Wayne Wood. The Uedemann Family lived on 1804 Margaret St. The Uedemann family is buried at Evergreen Cemetery. It seems that the glass plates were owned by Edwin O. Udemann (1875-1954). He was married to Rita (1886-1938.) Edwin's parents were Alexander (1846-1902) and Prudence (1844-1914) and his brother was Alexander Jr. (1873-1899). In 2017 Duncan Sawyer donated a collection of glass negatives to JHS (2017.053). Comparing the slides with these glass plates, the staff realised the glass plates matched some of the slides. The glass plates are located in JHS Archives Room 201.
