232 p. 21 cm. Memoirs of a pioneer by William O'Neal. Reprinted newspaper stories by William R. O’Neal about Orlando, Florida, and Orlando people, published about 1932. Autographed by author, June 5, 1939. Includes photograph of Mr. O'neal. Throughout the 1920s, Mr. O'Neal had a short column in the Sentinel-Star, entitled “Memoirs of a Pioneer,” in which he related Orlando’s early history. Thus, through his business endeavors and contribution to journalism, O’Neal became an active member of the Orlando community. Sentinel-Star sponsored a private printing of 100 copies of "Memoirs of a Pioneer", which was presented to Mr. O'Neal with the compliments of the paper. Partial contents: Rt. Rev.
