History: Trinity Baptist College was founded in 1974 by Trinity Baptist Church for the purpose of preparing people for ministry while maintaining a close relationship with a functioning local church. The church had a burden for education and recognized this opportunity as an effective way to impact the community and train students for ministry and missions. TBC relocated from McDuff Avenue to its current campus on Hammond Blvd in 1988. Under the leadership of Dr. Shoemaker, the college became accredited in 1997 ... College website.Collection
