339, [1] pages ; 20 cm A comic novel involving the black stereotype characters, Willie and Amos,who were portrayed in blackface by the white vaudeville comedy team Moran & Mack. It is a novel about two black men in World War I, complete with some vaudeville-type dialect. Apparently Moran and Mack were vaudeville whose gags were mostly very "corny" . Comtemporaries of the "Amos & Andy".
