Scope and Content

The Florida Times-Union and Citizen newspaper was founded in 1897 as a union between two Jacksonville, Florida newspapers: the Florida Times-Union (1883-97) and the Daily Florida Citizen (1893-97). In 1903, the newspaper's name changed to the Florida Times-Union. Includes 1899 bound volume of Florida Times-Union and Citizen.
