Volume 4, no.2: December, 1921 issue: High school champions of the United States -- Men who won the championship -- Assist cheerleader by doing away with all cursing -- Society (Louise Barry will entertain at a tea dance in honor of Dena Dart with many students from Duval High School attending; Helen Baker to entertain at a dance to be given at the Florida Country Club; tea to be given by Mary and Martha Renfroe; Sarah Sligh to give tea at home in Riverside; Probably the largest school dance of the football season was given at the Armory Dec. 10th in celebration of the Tiger victory over Stele High. Mr. and Mrs. Rutherford and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur were in attendance. Mr. Wilbur presented solid gold football scarf pins given by V. E. Jacobs Co.to team members; John McFadden received his degree at Emory and is now at University of North Carolina working on his master's. Later he will study theology; Mattie Slight of '19 will spend holidays in Orlando.)

She was 1 of 4 women named by President Harding to attend. Lawrence Haynes sang the Marseillaise -- Article by Sarah Sligh chiding seniors to work together -- Anna Pavlowa bringing her musicians and dancers to Jacksonville -- De Molay which is a Junior Masonry group organized -- Large dance held at the Armory with Garber-Davis Orchestra traveling to play.Collection
