This is a file of primarily newspaper clippings about Ann Adams who was born in Jacksonville and contracted polio (poliomyelitis) as a young wife and mother. She was left paralyzed from the neck down but taught herself to draw by holding a pencil between her teeth. A New York company published her drawings on greeting cards that were available commercially.
