Tropical Storms Hits Florida Coast--Heavy tides caused by a 50 mile per hour gale wind wash up on the beach front at Jacksonville (10/7) causing considerable damage to the homes along the ocean front. Here the sea washes under the Plummer Hotel threating to undermine the structure.
