Color photochrome postcard of "The loose, white, bottomless sands of Florida never gave the Flanders '20' Glidden Pathfinder pause. Driver Soules is here shown in his favorite specialty of 'straddling the track'. The route of the 1911 Glidden Tour was one of the longest and by far the most difficult ever selected. It was from New York City to Jacksonville, Fla., over roads that ranged all the way from excellent to - well, awful.
