This folder includes documents donated by Bill Conrad that were used by him in designing the proposal and identifying musicians to be included.
Contents: Document 1: St. Johns River production group (proposal for a musical documentary exploring NE Florida roots of popular, jazz, R&B, rock, & country/folk. He identified 30 plus who have achieve national & often international commercial success. He proposes a 3 part series presenting interviews with surviving artists. Part one would present an introduction with overview that includes history as back as composer, Frederick Delius and Oliver Hardy as a singer & drummer. Part 2 (The Sixties could include Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bernie Leadon & Don Felder, Stephen Stills, Rita Coolidge, Classics IV, for example) -- Part 3 (Everybody else & the latest wave such as Creed, Limp Bizkit, Yellowcard, David Hasselhoff, for example)
Document 2: A 1 page list of 31 of the more familiar bands and musicians in alphabetical order starting with Julian Cannonball Adderly and ending with Yellowcard.

Document 4: Copy of article article Boss Jocks published in the journal Southern Cultures, Winter 2011 issue. His notations are throughout the article.
Document 5: Jacksonville, Future home of the FLORIDA MUSIC HALL OF FAME; a proposal by Bill Conrad. He writes on the last page that with the assistance & cooperation of Larry Mangum and other local musicians, Gary Saltsgiver & David Luckin at WJCT, Todd Roobin, Chief of Jacksonville's Film & Television Office & other community leaders, I propose to produce a comprehensive documentary film, an A to Z tribute to Florida musicians which will air on public television, and will serve as the impetus to establish the Florida Music Hall of Fame in Jacksonville.
