St. James Building, Hemming Park, PostcardScope and Content
Hemming Park, in a down town section bounded by Laura, Monroe, Hogan and Duval Streets, is literal outdoor headquarters for Jacksonville's many tourists and other visitors. During the winter season daily band concerts are given here. the park is particuraly interesting because of unusual floral growth, palms, roses and other interesting plants. Ths St. James Building facing the park is shown in background.
