JAMM Wingate, who lives in the Lake Asbury area of Clay County, spent years doing stage production and driving for dozens of acts, ranging from the Beach Boys to Gwar.. He grew up with the Van Zant brothers and played in the Lakeshore Junior High band with future Skynyrd founders Bob Burns and Allen Collins.
