Airplane View of Jacksonville and the St. Johns River
Jacksonville's land-locked harbor, twenty-two miles from the open Atlantic, on the mighty St. Johns River, shelters the leading port of the South Atlantic. Two bridges span the river, the F.E.C.R.R. Bridge and St. Johns River Bridge, over which passes most of the automobile traffic into the state. The sand at Jacksonville and Atlantic Beaches is white and hard, delightful surf-bathing practically all year.Collection
