LU3-10.69 HUD Project #: Florida P-64 This report is a study of the role of Open Space and Recreation in Jacksonville. Open Space was studied primarily in terms of the area's soil and water conditions and their relationship to development. Special studies on soil and water conditions and saltwater marshes are included. The public recreation facilities of the City were inventoried to determine their ability o meet the present demand. Recommendations are made for improvement and expansion of the facilities to meet the future recreation need.
