Cover: Uncle Tom is hiding in the swamp river as he is being hunted by a man wearing a red and yellow plaid shirt and yellow pants. The man is holding 3 red leashes for the 3 bloodhounds. He is carrying a rifle in his left hand. A retelling of Uncle Tom's Cabin in comic book format . Illustrated by Rolland H. Livingstone ; story adaptation by Evelyn Goodman. "Flight over Tokyo" by Michael Sullivan, a 2 page story, follows the main story. Then a 2 page illustration and poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow titled "The Children's Hour" illustrated by Vivian Lipman. The last page is a short biography titled "The Life of Harriet Beecher Stowe."
