From Dr. Bronson's St. Augustine History Page (online) Flagler Era - 1890 to 1900: "Tatler Magazine was started to help keep people informed of the events at the hotels (through the state of Florida) throughout the winter season. The remarkable woman behind the magazine was Anna Marcotte. ( She published "The Tatler" for seventeen years, from 1891 to 1908, and the St. Augustine News for one year).
Published weekly on Saturday during the winter season. Anna M. Marcotte was also the owner.Collection
