NYT, Feb.1, 1970 Sunday article on Jacksonville's children's museum, by C. E. Wright. Special Events and Exhibits August, 1970 through March, 1971 with special attention to increasing attendance and "halls of real adventure-The Timucua-Old Cow Ford- Florida Wildlife" among others., but most especially the 28-foot Allosaurus skeleton. Thirty years of support and Service timelines, excellent overview. Junior League and Northeast Florida Tuberculosis and Respiratory Disease District-sponsored Eco-Alert Environmental Forum at Thunderbird Motel where Hazel Henderson urged citizens to examine environmental laws and correct those that are weak while also refusing to allow polluting industries to thrive in the area, especially since they do so at expense of responsible industries.
