This collection was found in the archives of the Jacksonville Historical Society with no specific provenance. The collection contains research, correspondence, deeds and stories collected by Lee Bigelow. Mr. Bigelow was born in Jacksonville on December 2, 1872 and died on May 28, 1940. He is buried in the Bigelow Cemetery in Arlington, FL. Mr. Bigelow was a field worker for the Works Progress Administration in Jacksonville in 1936. He was the Historical Editor for the State Library Project in 1938.
