Haskell is an architecture, engineering, construction and consulting firm headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. It was founded by Preston Haskell in 1965. This is an account of the Haskell Company's corporate life, written with the cooperation of its people and resulting in 39 formal, recorded oral history interviews.
"Chapter 1 describes Haskell's origins and introduces the company's founder, Preston Haskell. Chapter 2 covers events of the 10 years as it promoted and perfected design-build project delivery. Chapter 3 and 4 covers the 1st 25 years of growth and innovation. Chapter 5 recounts one of Haskell's most substantive changes, the arrival of Steven Halverson as President, and soon after as CEO. Chapter 6 highlights Haskell's projects as revenues continue to grow. Chapter 7 shows how the Company weathered the financial crisis of 2008. Chapter 8 focuses on the 4 independent companies that joined Haskell. Chapter 9 places Haskell in the context of its fiftieth year."
