"As the ship General Taylor departed Savannah for Jacksonville, in late March 1844, Master Anderson recorded the places he visited from Jacksonville, St. Augustine, the St. Johns River and others. His side-trips to historical sites such as Fort Matanzas, and Minorcan Colony near New Smyrna are also included. "
