Principal Jasmin Esparza Gomez is the principal of San Jose Elementary School in Jacksonville, Florida. She's a leader whose childhood was harder than most. As a girl, she was thrown from pillar to post. Many times, when hurt, she had nowhere to turn. Her refuge in times of trouble was a big building full of books - the public library. Life is full of challenges. She writes that learned I had to persevere and never give up.
