Description

This charger is among the presidential china group, 2001.025.001-.017. The white porcelain charger was used by the Monroes during the Monroe presidency. The charger is trimmed with gold and includes a cursive gold "M" in a shield at top. The center of the charger is decorated with an eagle and shield surrounded by stars. The set was likely made in France around 1817.
