These pot de cremes and stand (2001.025.006) are part of the presidential china group, 2001.025.001-.017. The white porcelain pot de cremes and stand were used by the Monroes during the Monroe presidency. The pot de cremes and stand are trimmed with gold and include an eagle and shield surrounded by stars. The set was likely made in France around 1817.
