These pots de crème and stand (2001.025.006) are part of the presidential china group, 2001.025.001-.017. The pots de crème and stand were used by the Monroes during the Monroe presidency. The white porcelain pots de crème and stand are trimmed with gold. The pots de crème have single handles and have lids with gold finials. Each one has an eagle and shield surrounded by stars. The set was likely made in France around 1817.Collection
