The Legend of Wizard Clip, Compliments of Ye Wizard Clippe Tea Room, Middleway, W. Va. This pamphlet briefly tells the story the Wizard Clip. In this tail, a stranger stopped in the southern part of Jefferson County (in the ancient village of Wizard Clip), and was offered hospitality. He became sick that evening and requested a priest be brought. His host, Mr. Livingstone, refused. The stranger died and was buried in unconsecrated ground, causing the home to be plagued by witches and wizards, who would clip everything into crescent shapes. Eventually a priest from the Catholic church was called and consecrated the grave, banishing the wizards and witches. Physical Description: 4 pp.
