Description

Hyman Viener and Sons located on the west side of the 300 block of North George Street. The Viener family operated a metal and fabric reclamation center at this location for over 80 years. Demolished in 2008. Currently the American Public University System Academic Center at 330 North George Street. Hyman Viener and Sons was a complex of three buildings including an office building (white), warehouse (brick) and a third building with a pitched roof. Image number 4 shows the Charles Town Bottling Co. and Viener and Sons office building can be seen off to the right.
