Stephenson-Morgan Ceremony, September 18, 1988, at Morgan's Grove Park in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. The ceremony honored Captain Daniel Morgan from Winchester and Captain Hugh Stephenson who lived in then Berkeley now Jefferson County. They were key figures in the formation of the First Army of the Continental Congress in June 1775. (from The Jefferson Advocate, September 22, 1988).
