Description

Child's cotton dress which was once probably white but is now yellowed. Short sleeves, fancy work at waist and bottom. Two buttons and strings in back. Note (typed and handwritten) attached with straight pin. Typed note: "A hand made Baby dress. Loaned by Miss M. B. Grantham." In ink handwriting "To a museum in Summit Pt." Pencilled handwriting: "Made by Mary Eliza Bowen Grantham in 1863" Note on back handwritten in pencil: "Displayed at Historical Society in Middleway May 21, 1938".
